Telephone Systems Case Studies The incumbent maintenance company charged considerable amounts of money each time they visited site, even for the smallest programming change, because the client's offices were based in Cornwall and they didn't have remote access on the system.

The client had been using an obsolete Samsung DCS Telephone System for a number of years.

The client's business is generating trades on the Stock Market, therefore time really is money to this company - every second counts.

They wanted to separate incoming calls depending on if they were for the Trading Floor or the Administration Department as currently each Department was answering eachothers calls - dramatically slowing down the productivity of the office staff and more importantly the Trading Floor staff

The client considered companies from Bristol and Devon, but placed the business with SynergyOne due to our overall professionalism in the tender process.

All our all Technicians are able to access our range of Telephone Systems remotely from their mobile data card powered laptops immediately upon receipt of a request.

This alone saved the client considerable amounts of money as the programming changes he required could be carried out remotely, at no cost, as part of his maintenance agreement.

SynergyOne utilised our partner agreements with BT Openreach and BT Wholesale to provide 30 Channels of ISDN30 completely free of charge, which gave the business the ability to issue two telephone numbers to their clients. One telephone number for the Administration Department and one telephone number for the Trading Floor.

The Toshiba CIX 670 Telephone System was expertly programmed to allow calls to the Trading Floor to have priority over any other call. This enabled the client to take over 15% more calls which equated to tangible profits for the business.

The next product absolutely revolutionised the client's business. The client noticed an upsurge of over 23% in their Gross Profit month-on-month after this product was introduced to their business.

At the time of demonstrating the benefits of the Toshiba CIX670 Telephone System to the partners of the business, the SynergyOne Senior Business Development Manager suggested that they trialled a Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) software product - SmartPhone.

The product allowed the staff to access the full database of clients via a window on their PC's. They had previously worked from daily updated printed sheets which they would manually scroll through then dial the number. This took a reasonable amount of time to complete each call and therefore each trade.

With the CTI software installed all the staff had to do was type in the fist two or three letters of the clients name and click the mouse. The chosen number would instantly be dialled without having to pick up the telephone or dial the number - it all worked automatically.

If the first number dialled didn't reach the required person they could immediately click any other telephone numbers associated with that client. By making contact with clients in this way the business was able to increase the number of successful trades by over 30% immediately upon the softwares installation.

The Office Administrator was able to keep all of the client's details 100% up to date and accurate therefore ensuring the whole company always had exactly the right data to work from.

Once the SmartPhone trial was completed, needless to say the client decided to keep the product.

Lastly, being a Stock Broker the client is FSA regulated which entailed all calls having to be recorded for verification and monitoring purposes.

SynergyOne installed and maintains a Call Recording system to run across all the 30 Channels of ISDN30 ensuring that any dispute could be actioned immediately with the caller still on the telephone.
